Scientific Research Advisor
Dr. Enrique Saez is a PhD graduate in Genetics from Harvard Medical School and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He received his BA Molecular Biology from Princeton. He also did his postdoctoral fellowship at The Salk Biological Institute and has served as a group leader at The Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation. He’s currently an Associate Professor at Scripps Institute in La Jolla where his group is interested in two broad themes related to the regulation of energy balance in mammals: Nuclear receptors as nutrient sensors & genetic regulation of energy storage.
